## Description

Blublokes is a prostate cancer awareness and fundraising initiative led by Tim Beere and Grant Shackleton, two officially endorsed Prostate Cancer Foundation Ambassadors. The project grew from Tim’s diagnosis at age 42 and his commitment to highlighting the importance of early detection and supporting research into the disease. Through their campaign, Tim and Grant encourage men and their families to discuss prostate cancer and make a plan to get checked.

The pair are training for the Pioneer Challenge, a demanding six-day mountain bike stage race covering 424 kilometres and 15,124 metres of climbing. Their preparation includes a 16-week schedule expected to total more than 4,000 kilometres. Blublokes shares weekly training updates and regular videos about the physical and mental challenges of the journey.

Supporters can contribute through donations, pledge funds based on kilometres ridden, or provide sponsorship in cash, products, or services. The campaign also offers information about Tim’s story and features guidance on early detection from urologist Dr Michael Holmes.
