## Description

Editora Blucher is an independent Brazilian publishing house based in São Paulo, founded in 1955 by Edgard Blücher to address the shortage of books in engineering, technology, and science, with particular attention to Brazilian authors. Today, its broad catalogue serves readers across academic, professional, and general-interest fields, including engineering, computing, mathematics, business, architecture, design, law, economics, education, medicine, environmental studies, literature, psychology, and psychoanalysis. The publisher offers books, scientific proceedings, open-access publications, and titles organized into numerous collections and editorial imprints. Its list ranges from technical and research-focused works to accessible science books for children, biographies, and publications on culture and the humanities. Blucher also supports authors wishing to publish, provides resources for teachers, students, researchers, booksellers, and readers, and shares information about new releases and literary events. Through its specialized publishing programme and varied formats, Editora Blucher connects knowledge and ideas with audiences in Brazil and beyond.
