## Description

Blue Cross Kenya (BCK) is a prominent organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of alcohol and substance abuse, primarily focusing on children and youth in Kenya. Established as part of the broader International Blue Cross movement, which began in 1877, BCK operates with a mission to mobilize effective interventions for families affected by these issues. Headquartered in Kisumu City, this membership-based, non-political, and non-denominational organization conducts grassroots programs that align with international goals such as the UN 2030 Agenda and Kenya Vision 2030.

BCK offers a range of services including life skills training, digital literacy initiatives, arts classes, and counseling support, all aimed at fostering sober communities. Additionally, they provide safe spaces and rehabilitation programs for marginalized populations. Through advocacy and community engagement, Blue Cross Kenya strives to reduce the impact of alcohol and substance misuse, embodying the core values of love, solidarity, and empowerment in their operations to ensure a healthier future for the youth of Kenya.
