Nature Seychelles is at the forefront of promoting the Blue Economy as a sustainable development model for the Seychelles. Inspired by Gunter Pauli's innovative concept, the organization focuses on harnessing nature-inspired technologies to address pressing environmental challenges while shifting society from scarcity to abundance. The Blue Economy Centre, led by seasoned economist Ms. Kerstin Henri, is dedicated to developing and solidifying a comprehensive framework for Seychelles' Blue Economy. 

The Centre collaborates with national and international partners to amalgamate best practices across various initiatives, including biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable tourism. Their efforts encompass research, eco-tourism ventures, coastal and marine conservation, and climate change adaptation, all aimed at crafting a sustainable future. Additionally, Nature Seychelles seeks to secure funding for groundbreaking projects that bolster the foundations of the Blue Economy. Through their initiatives, they aim to foster a balanced relationship between nature, society, and economic growth in the Seychelles.
