## Description

Blue Metropolis International Literary Festival is one of North America's premiere multi-lingual literary events, celebrating literature through over 200 activities in more than 10 languages each year. Founded in 1997 as part of the Blue Metropolis Foundation, this dynamic festival brings together authors and audiences from around the world, fostering intercultural dialogue and a passion for reading and writing.

The festival features a diverse array of programming, including literary walking tours, workshops, family-friendly activities, and professional spaces for writers and educators. Highlights include thematic events such as "Tell Me About Happiness" and a commitment to Indigenous literature, LGBTQ+ performances, and mental health discussions.

Alongside the festival, the Blue Metropolis Foundation offers educational programs that utilize the power of literature as a therapeutic tool to combat social isolation and poverty, enhancing community engagement year-round. Discover the joy of literature and broaden your horizons with Blue Metropolis, where words come alive in a myriad of cultures and languages.
