## Description

Welcome to the Blue Ridge Cousins Archive, a dedicated digital repository for exploring the rich genealogy of families from Madison and Rappahannock Counties in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. This initiative honors the lives of early settlers and seeks to connect descendants from 1714 through 1920. Nestled within the stunning landscape, this archive preserves the history of a close-knit community through stories that deserve to be told.

The project was founded out of a passion for genealogy, with an aim to compile a series of books and a Biographical Dictionary reflecting local heritage. Users can register for accounts to access extensive genealogical records, engage in advanced searches, and even contribute to the project through donations for full access to custom reports.

Through the Blue Ridge Cousins Archive, you can uncover vital connections to family histories, with a focus on notable figures like Tip Nethers, whose legacy as a miller and community hub exemplifies the spirit of the region. Join us in celebrating the stories that shaped our community.
