## Description

Blue Shed Urban Gardens is a Denver-based urban micro farm established in 2021 by Steff Grogan. The farm grows seedlings, fresh food, flowers, and herbs, and makes homemade products for the Denver metro area. Its work combines organic cultivation with community outreach and education, encouraging people to grow and share food while building stronger connections through gardening.

A central part of the farm’s mission is to support a more equitable food system. It provides fresh produce to pay-what-you-can cafes, food pantries, and neighbors in need, helping make locally grown food more accessible. Blue Shed Urban Gardens also aims to raise awareness of problems it identifies in the food system, including inequity, racism, inefficiency, and unsustainable practices.

The organization shares resources such as seed-saving tips and gardening guidance, and invites the community to get involved in its work. Based on South High Street in Denver, Blue Shed Urban Gardens brings together food production, flowers, education, and community action with the goal of helping create a fairer food system.
