## Description

Blue Water Institute is a nonprofit organization focused on preserving the planet and nurturing the next generation of environmental filmmakers and thought leaders. Through environmental programs, it aims to discover, innovate, and support emerging voices from around the world. Its Blue Water Australia Summit brings together ocean ambassadors, guardians, researchers, activists, filmmakers, and other leaders to explore the connections between ocean health, climate change, and plastic pollution. The program features keynote talks, panel discussions, presentations, film screenings, and cultural events, with topics including ocean restoration, marine habitats, sustainable food, Indigenous land and sea, youth perspectives, and ocean policy. The institute also presents the Blue Water Film Festival, which encourages audiences to consider how climate change affects Earth and what actions can help restore balance. Music, storytelling, and media are also part of its efforts to amplify the voice of the oceans. Blue Water Institute welcomes people interested in volunteering, supporting online production, or exploring in-kind marketing partnerships.
