With a vibrant community of over 5,000 active participants, BMAF encourages, organizes, and regulates athletic events segmented into 5-year age groups. The federation encompasses various athletic disciplines including track and field, road running, and race walking, ensuring comprehensive participation.

BMAF provides a range of services including the organization of championship events, comprehensive competition rules, and performance improvement resources. Additionally, members can access exclusive BMAF kits, health and well-being programs, and anti-doping regulations. The federation is structured into an Executive team, supported by area clubs across the nation, fostering regional representation and collaboration. With initiatives like the EMAA inter-area competitions, BMAF not only enhances athletic performance but also cultivates a sense of community and camaraderie among older athletes.
