## Description

The British Motorcycle Owners Association of Mackay (BMOA) is a welcoming motorcycle club established in 1979, bringing together around 100 active members who share an interest in motorcycling. British motorcycles are a particular focus, but enthusiasts are welcome regardless of the make of bike they own. The association helps members enjoy motorcycle ownership through regular meetings, organised rides and social activities.

BMOA meets on the second Sunday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the Mackay Aero Club, and holds monthly club rides on the third Sunday to destinations around the Mackay district. Members can also take part in weekend rides, week-away excursions across Queensland and long-distance rides of 2,000 to 5,000 kilometres for modern motorcycles. The club publishes its Tappet Rattle newsletter and offers club merchandise.

BMOA also organises an annual All Bike Show, held each year since 1984, featuring motorcycles from across the riding community. Its activities provide opportunities to connect with fellow enthusiasts, share experiences and explore the region together.
