BODEKA is an amateur sports club based in Istanbul that caters to sea kayakers. As a group of passionate professionals, we wanted to fully experience the beauty of Istanbul, a city situated on two continents, Europe and Asia, connected by the mesmerizing Bosphorus. We realized that witnessing the magnificence of the Bosphorus from land was not enough, so we founded BODEKA in 2006 to incorporate the Bosphorus into our lives in an energetic, thrilling, and outdoor way.

Sea kayaking may not be widely popular in our country, but it is undoubtedly one of the most enjoyable sports to indulge in this stunning geography alongside wonderful individuals. With our membership fees, we acquired kayaks and essential equipment, which are now stored in our club's dedicated space to ensure easy access to the Bosphorus. We conduct regular weekend trips and longer expeditions during holidays.

Additionally, we provide training for novices, as we aim to enhance our club's standards with better equipment and advanced levels of instruction. While the kayaks and equipment are exclusively for the use of BODEKA members, non-members can participate in training activities by paying a fee. We welcome individuals who are passionate about sea kayaking at the Bosphorus, regardless of their experience level.
