## Description

Böker is a well-established brand with a rich history spanning over 150 years. Starting with a small hardware factory in the 17th century, Böker rapidly gained recognition for their high-quality tools and cutlery. In 1829, they expanded their production to include sabers, which were in high demand during a politically turbulent era. With a growing range of products and global sales opportunities, Böker divided their tasks among family members, establishing branches in New York, Canada, and Mexico. The brand's iconic logo, a chestnut tree, has remained a symbol of quality and reliability since its creation in 1869. The Böker name became synonymous with excellence, particularly in the production of razors, scissors, and pocket knives. The US market became their main focus, and Böker soon started their own pocket knife production, later adding pliers to their offerings. Despite the challenges posed by World War II, Böker successfully rebuilt their factory in Solingen, Germany, and regained their position as a leading knife manufacturer. The company's relationship with the American market remained strong, with two distinct product lines carrying the Böker brand: one made in the USA and the other made in Solingen, Germany. In the 1960s, Böker USA was acquired by scissor manufacturer Wiss & Sons, and subsequently sold to multinational company Cooper Industries in the 1970s. This partnership allowed Böker to streamline production and develop innovative products. Today, Böker offers an extensive range of sports and collector's knives with a wide variety of blade and handle materials. Their commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail make Böker a trusted choice for professionals and enthusiasts alike. With over a century and a half of experience, Böker continues to deliver exceptional products and service to customers worldwide.
