## Description

East West Kung Fu is a family-oriented martial arts school serving California’s East Bay since its founding by Grandmaster Lee in 1967. With locations in Alamo, Lafayette, and San Ramon, the school welcomes children and adults of varied ages and fitness levels. Its core curriculum is Bok Fu Do, a martial arts system developed by Senior Grandmaster Richard Lee and described as combining influences from several martial arts traditions. The school’s certified instructors guide students through training focused on physical fitness, discipline, confidence, and personal development.

Programs include youth and adult Kung Fu, with youth classes available from age four, as well as Tai Chi and practical self-defense instruction. Tai Chi classes emphasize flowing movement and stress reduction, while self-defense seminars teach techniques intended to help participants build confidence and protect themselves. The schools also offer Kung Fu for teens, seasonal winter camps for youth and teens, birthday parties, and special events. Prospective students can arrange a complimentary introductory lesson, and class schedules are available for each location.
