## Description

Boldungu is a mathematics learning platform for primary school children, designed to make practice engaging and help learners build understanding step by step. Its activities follow national curricula in 23 countries, including Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa and Tanzania. Boldungu identifies earlier concepts that may be holding a learner back, then revisits them using relatable examples, pictures, money and number lines before guiding the child back to the current topic. Practice adapts to each learner’s responses, with the aim of strengthening understanding and showing what to work on next.

The platform serves learners, parents, teachers and schools. Learners can use curriculum-organised practice, mathematics questions, worksheets, revision resources, challenges and practice papers. Parents receive plain-language progress updates showing what their child practised, which topics are secure and where support may be needed. Teachers and schools can follow learner progress and identify areas requiring attention. Boldungu also offers offline learning for times when internet access is limited.
