Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation (BONDHU) is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 with a vision to be a true friend of nature. Our primary goal is to conserve the environment and minimize the effects of global warming, climate change, pollution, and overpopulation in Bangladesh. As one of the most climate-vulnerable countries in the world, our multi-dimensional projects are focused on combating environmental polluters. Our diverse workforce of over 1200 people, spread across more than 218 offices, work tirelessly to implement projects that address critical issues like climate-friendly agriculture, tree plantation, solar-powered drinking water supply, and energy-saving stoves. Through these initiatives, we aim to increase agricultural production, tackle climate change, and reduce the acute shortage of potable water in coastal areas. Led by Dr. Engr. Khalequzzaman and the late Suchitra Hajong, our founders, we uphold values of humanism, efficiency, transparency, honesty, sincerity, and equality for all people.
