## Description

The Bonneville Shoreline Trail is a developing, citizen-led trail project in Utah, guided by the Bonneville Shoreline Trail Committee (BSTC). Its proposed route follows the bench formed by ancient Lake Bonneville, with the long-term goal of extending from the Idaho border to Nephi for more than 280 miles. Just over 100 miles are currently officially designated as part of the trail, so the full route remains a work in progress and is not yet entirely established as the BST.

The organization’s website helps visitors explore the proposed route and learn about its regions through trail maps and an interactive BST Explorer. It also provides information on the trail’s geology and history, along with resources and updates, including an introductory series about the trail’s development. Visitors can find information about volunteering, contact the committee, and make donations to support the effort. Because some portions of the proposed route may cross private property or encounter other obstacles, the site advises users to heed signs and fences and remain alert to hazards.
