## Description

BooBee is a breast cancer awareness campaign focused on educating women about risk, encouraging breast health checks, and helping protect future generations. Working with Prevent Breast Cancer, it aims to make Manchester the UK’s leading city for breast cancer awareness and prevention. Through its pink Queen Bee mascot, BooBee brings people together to share practical information, build confidence, and promote a more proactive approach to reducing risk. The campaign organises events such as BreastFest and has used the BooBee Bus to reach communities, workplaces, and public spaces across Greater Manchester, particularly during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Its activities also include the Check In & Check Yourself initiative, the Sex and the Titty podcast, films and real-life stories, and fundraising campaigns. BooBee supports Prevent Breast Cancer and Make 2nds Count, inviting donations to help their work. The campaign also seeks to create support networks and improve confidence and self-esteem among participating women.
