# Book Plum - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `bookplum.org` ## Description Book Plum is an online resource for tracking presidential appointees and staff across the United States government. It addresses a gap in the printed Plum Book, which is published every four years after a presidential election and can become outdated quickly, especially as political appointees change roles. While career government positions tend to be more stable, Book Plum focuses on collecting and indexing known political appointees in the current administration. The site helps users explore appointees by agency and category, and supplements its listings with financial filings and other information intended to show who is making government decisions. Visitors can browse agencies such as the White House, State Department, Department of Health and Human Services, Environmental Protection Agency, and Department of Agriculture. Categories include departed administration members, nonprofit and business affiliations, education, and government. Book Plum is designed both for people seeking roles in a future administration and for those who want to learn who is serving in government today. ## Industries - ⚖️ Law and Government - ⚖️ Government _(under Law and Government)_ - 🗺 Reference Materials - 🗺 Public Records and Directories _(under Reference Materials)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idEi0FR0Sd/w/350/h/96/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792613340512) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Finn | #673147 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Cornflower | #96b1e8 | light | ## Fonts - Georgia — asset _(custom)_ - Public Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
