## Description

Boomkwekerij Bartelen is a family-run tree nursery based in Nispen, West Brabant, near Roosendaal in the Netherlands. Established in 1986, the business grows a broad assortment of rootstocks and young avenue trees on 26 hectares. Its products are intended as planting material for avenue-tree nurseries and are also supplied to trade customers and landscapers; the company does not sell to private individuals.

Bartelen offers more than 130 varieties and focuses on producing quality plants that can be prepared for dispatch quickly. The nursery reports propagating more than 110,000 trees annually, including one- to three-year-old grafted plants, and grafting and budding 100,000 trees each year. Its annual sales include approximately 125,000 trees.

The business is operated by brothers Jurgen and Thomas Bartelen together with their mother, continuing the work begun by Peter Bartelen. They and their staff emphasize quality and a hands-on approach to cultivation. Customers can consult the assortment list, contact the nursery with questions, or arrange a visit to its site on Dennestraat in Nispen.
