## Description

Boon is a community-driven public art initiative bringing art and creative expression to the streets of Hamilton Kirikiriroa. Brought to you by Hamilton Arts Trust, it aims to make art part of everyday city life while helping shape Hamilton’s identity, connect communities, spark dialogue, and build shared pride. Its work includes the Boon Street Art Festival, Boon After Dark, public murals, colourful street spaces, and art tours. The website also features a mural directory and map, an event archive, and information about the artists and partners involved. Through public art, Boon supports local artists and storytellers, revitalises urban spaces, and creates opportunities to share community values and stories. The initiative is sustained through volunteer effort, sponsorship, and support for the arts. Visitors can explore murals, learn about past events, follow Boon on social media, sign up for news, or contribute through donations and merchandise. Boon invites Hamiltonians and visitors to help foster a city where art is visible and valued every day.
