## Description

Boone-Duden Historical Society & Archives, named after early settlers Daniel Boone and Gottfried Duden, is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of southwestern St. Charles and southern Warren County for future generations. Our mission is to collect, preserve, and exhibit historic records, artifacts, and artwork, showcasing the rich heritage of the local people. As caretakers of the community's history, we maintain cemeteries, erect informational signs, and organize various events and seminars. Our officers and advisory board members are committed to upholding our vision. We offer volunteer opportunities for those interested in becoming part of history. Whether you want to tell a story dressed as a deceased person or assist in other meaningful ways, there is a place for you. While our previous location in the historic Kamphoefner house in New Melle is no longer available, we are actively seeking a new space to continue serving the community. Join us in preserving our shared past and creating a brighter future. Contact us via email at info@boone-duden.com or find us on Facebook.
