## Description

Borgovecchio is a Swiss wine company founded in 1978 as a family business, bringing people together through a shared appreciation of wine. Based in Balerna, it selects and distributes quality wines from Italy and other regions, serving restaurants, wine shops, retailers and large-scale distributors in Ticino and across Switzerland. Its catalogue includes more than 1,000 labels, with dedicated selections of Ticino wines, fine wines and organic wines, alongside international bottles, local specialties and exclusive spirits.

Customers can explore the range at the Borgovecchio Enoteca, where knowledgeable staff help them choose wines for different occasions, from everyday drinking to fine dining. The company also offers services for professional buyers and maintains long-standing distribution partnerships. Through Cantina Fumagalli, a small Ticino winery associated with Borgovecchio, the business produces wine locally. It also promotes the wines and terroir of Mendrisiotto, reflecting its commitment to the region and to environmental awareness and organic products.
