## Description

Born to Play is an initiative supporting children and young people in Oslo, with a focus on building inclusion, confidence and stronger local communities. It creates safe, welcoming places where children can take part in activities, develop interests and form friendships, while older young people gain work experience and leadership skills as coaches and activity leaders.

Its programmes span football and other sports, outdoor life, music, photography and culture, as well as language, school support and work training. Football sessions and camps include mentor support, and activities such as nature trips, creative workshops and holiday camps give participants opportunities to explore new interests. Born to Play also works with schools, local organisations and partners to create experiences and broaden opportunities for young people in Alna and surrounding communities.

The organisation’s approach combines enjoyable activities for children with meaningful roles for youth, helping strengthen role models and community connections. Born to Play shares news and stories about its programmes and invites individuals to support its work through one-time or monthly donations.
