## Description

Boromé is an art gallery based at 46 Rue Auguste Comte in Lyon, France. Since 1998, it has presented sculpture from the 20th and 21st centuries, with a particular interest in animal subjects. Its focus reflects a renewed tradition of animal sculpture associated with François Pompon and the Groupe des Douze, as well as artists such as Rembrandt Bugatti and Édouard Marcel Sandoz. Boromé showcases works by professional contemporary artists whose styles vary, contributing to its ongoing engagement with contemporary French sculpture. The gallery’s sculptors include Hélène Arfi, Marcel Bodart, Paul Bosland, Judith Devaux, Michel Lauricella, and Jean-François Gambino. Its program also includes painting, represented by artists such as Pierre Montheillet, Blanche Berthelier, and Jean-Marc Rochette. Boromé notes recognition from art-market professionals, historic-monument architects, museums, and institutions, and serves both collectors and visitors who appreciate the craft of sculpture. Through its artist presentations and exhibitions, the gallery offers a place to discover and engage with modern and contemporary works.
