## Description

The Borough Welsh Chapel, also known as Capel-y-Boro, is a Welsh Congregational chapel in Southwark, London, offering a warm welcome to the local community and visitors. Housed in a Grade II listed building dating from 1872, it is a short walk from Borough Underground Station. The chapel holds bilingual worship services, generally at 11am on the second, third and fourth Sundays of the month. Services feature hymns, music, prayers and readings, and many are also available online through Zoom. The choir, Côr y Boro, contributes to services and special events, including seasonal, harvest and remembrance gatherings, concerts and the chapel’s Christmas Lessons and Carols service. Members and friends support local and global communities and regularly raise funds for charities. The chapel also offers its recently refurbished hall for hire, providing a venue for celebrations, professional meetings and community events. Enquiries about hall hire and chapel activities can be made through its website or by contacting the trustees.
