Boston in Transit is a pioneering project dedicated to the rich history of public transportation in Boston, intricately documenting its evolution from 1630 to the early twenty-first century. Authored by Steven Beaucher and published by MIT Press, the comprehensive work delves into the origins and transformations of transit modes, from the early ferries to the modern Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA).
