## Description

Botto is a pioneering decentralized autonomous artist that redefines the boundaries of creativity through community collaboration. Established on October 8, 2021, Botto operates as a unique experiment in machine-driven artistry, allowing a diverse group of contributors—over fifteen thousand individuals to date—to influence its creative outputs. This innovative artist creates art perpetually, shaped by human input regarding its themes, styles, and imagery.

Botto's award-winning works have gained international recognition, challenging traditional notions of agency, authorship, and the essence of being human. As a testament to its impact, Botto garnered significant attention during a solo exhibition at Sotheby’s, where it achieved sales exceeding $350,000. This project not only showcases the potential of artificial intelligence in the art world but also explores crucial questions about creativity and value distribution. With a strong community governance model, Botto invites everyone to engage in its ongoing journey, making it a landmark in the evolution of collaborative artistic expression.
