## Description

The Boulder Barn is an indoor bouldering and climbing centre based at Holmer Trading Estate in Hereford. Designed for climbers of all abilities, the centre offers low-level climbing without ropes, welcoming beginners as well as people seeking training and new challenges. Visitors can enjoy standard bouldering sessions, with reduced-price sessions available for students on selected days. The programme also includes classes, induction training, competitions and the NICAS Bouldering Award Scheme, which supports climbing development and recognises achievement on indoor walls for children aged eight and over.

For younger visitors, Tiny Climbers sessions are designed for pre-school children aged zero to five, while holiday activities combine instructed climbing with climbing-based games. Children’s birthday parties, for ages five and over, are led by qualified instructors and include games, climbing activities and movement skills. The centre also has the Figure of Ate Café, serving coffee, cake and hot snacks, with seating that includes a mezzanine area.
