## Description

Québec métiers d’avenir is a service of Éducation internationale, an organization officially mandated by Québec’s Ministry of Education to coordinate international activities for the province’s school service centres and school boards. Through its Excellence Scholarship competition, the service helps international students pursue vocational training in Québec. The program offers two types of support: excellence scholarships and tuition-fee exemptions. Scholarship recipients receive funding of $14,000 to $26,600, depending on their program’s duration, to help cover living expenses, an exemption from applicable international-student tuition fees, and Québec health insurance coverage through RAMQ for the duration of their studies. Tuition exemptions alone do not include a scholarship or medical coverage. The service provides application information, instructions, priority regions and training programs, required-document guidance, a competition calendar, and frequently asked questions. Applications are submitted online and reviewed by educational institutions before a final external assessment. The competition supports students through selection and encourages them to apply independently. Immigration costs, travel, and training-related expenses are not covered by the scholarship.
