## Description

Bow Shock is a skateboarding social network and marketplace built to connect skaters, skate shops, and brands. Its community platform focuses exclusively on skateboarding, giving riders a place to share videos, discover local skaters and skate spots, join crews, follow news, and connect with coaches. Members can build public rider profiles and tag the gear, shops, and brands featured in their clips.

Bow Shock links social content to shopping through a shared marketplace featuring participating skate shops and brands. Skaters can earn commissions when purchases are made through their tagged products: the stated rate is 5% per completed order, rising to as much as 10% for Ambassadors. The platform also offers rewards, community discounts, contests, leaderboards, and opportunities for riders to gain visibility with potential sponsors.

For shops and brands, Bow Shock provides a way to list products, reach a skateboarding-focused audience, identify which riders drive sales, and support those riders. Partners pay commissions only on completed orders, with no upfront advertising budget required.
