## Description

BoxPower is a brand that specializes in providing clean, reliable, and affordable energy solutions to rural customers. Their expertise lies in the development and deployment of containerized solar systems, which are ideal for generating clean electricity. BoxPower offers a range of products and services to optimize the performance and accelerate the deployment of solar plus storage microgrids. From energy audit to operation, they provide turnkey engineering, construction, and management solutions. Their vision is to ensure that every rural energy consumer has access to clean, reliable, and affordable energy. BoxPower's journey began in 2011 when they received funding from the National Science Foundation to develop their containerized microgrid technology. They initially focused on deploying microgrids for disaster relief in the Caribbean and have since expanded to providing energy resilience to remote indigenous communities, critical facilities, and rural customers for utility companies such as Liberty Utilities and PG&E. BoxPower is proud to have a team of experienced professionals and strategic partnerships with energy consultants, solar installers, and power authorities to scale the deployment of solar + battery microgrids. They are committed members of leading clean energy and utility industry associations, demonstrating their dedication to bringing clean, reliable, and affordable energy to underserved communities.
