## Description

BPAY is an Australian bill-payment service managed by BPAY Pty Ltd, part of the payments and identity organisation Australian Payments Plus. Established in 1997, BPAY enables consumers to pay bills securely through the online banking services of more than 140 banks and financial institutions. To make a payment, customers enter the Biller Code and Customer Reference Number shown on a bill, then select an account and, where available, schedule the payment for a suitable date. More than 95,000 businesses offer BPAY, supporting payments for bills such as utilities, rent, strata, credit cards and insurance. The service also helps businesses receive customer payments and pay suppliers, with payment options accessed through participating financial institutions. BPAY is designed to make bill management straightforward while keeping transactions within the security of online banking. Availability and product details may vary by financial institution; customers can contact their provider for information, including the relevant Product Disclosure Statement.
