Brabo Academy, located in the Kempsville area of Virginia Beach, Virginia, was founded in May 2022 by Professor Oleksandr Humen, a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). With a strong background in competitive wrestling, MMA, and a passion for teaching, Professor Humen aims to cultivate a new generation of dedicated BJJ practitioners. The academy offers a variety of classes for both children and adults, focusing on BJJ techniques, fitness, and competitive training.

Brabo Academy features a team of experienced instructors, including Coach Jake, a Purple Belt with significant tournament accolades, and Coach Marissa, a standout competitor and Kids Assistant Coach. The academy also hosts wrestling training sessions led by Coach Trevon Majette, a distinguished Virginia State Wrestling Champion.
