## Description

BraceLet is an Italian health-technology project developing a discreet smart bracelet to support the safety and everyday care of older adults, people with disabilities, and others who may need continuous supervision. Designed for comfortable, 24-hour wear, the bracelet is intended to monitor vital signs including heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, body temperature, and blood pressure. Its safety features include automatic fall detection, real-time location, emergency alerts, and an SOS button.

BraceLet’s connected services combine the wearable with a mobile app and web platform. Families and caregivers can receive notifications, review vital-sign histories, and set reminders for medication, activities, and check-ups. A professional version is designed to help care homes and health facilities monitor multiple patients, prioritize risks, and access reports and statistics. Data can also be exported for sharing with a doctor.

The bracelet is planned in two configurations: a family solution and a platform for care facilities. Its band is described as recyclable, hypoallergenic TPE. BraceLet is currently in development and is not yet available for purchase.
