Brackish is a brand that started with a single feather bow tie designed by Ben Ross and gifted to his groomsman, Jeff Plotner. Since then, it has grown into a full line of men's and women's accessories, all handmade in Charleston, SC, with a focus on celebrating the beauty of nature. The brand's journey began in November 2007 when Ben crafted turkey feather bow ties for his wedding party. Five years later, Jeff saw the potential in what Ben had created and partnered with him to launch Brackish. Together, they scaled the growth of the brand while always maintaining their core value of repurposing nature's beauty respectfully. From humble beginnings in Jeff's apartment, Brackish has now become a thriving design studio in Charleston. Their product range has expanded to include bow ties, pocket squares, plum thicket pins, cummerbunds, feather cufflinks, tux studs, earrings, cuff bracelets, and necklaces. Brackish's designs have been worn by celebrities like Blake Lively, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Cam Newton, gaining recognition on the red carpet and beyond.
