## Description

Bradford Kidney Patients Association (Bradford KPA) is a registered charity supporting people affected by kidney disease, including patients receiving dialysis and their families and carers. Its work focuses on people connected with St Luke’s Dialysis Unit, BRI ADU, Ward 15 and the Skipton Satellite Unit who live permanently or temporarily in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Drawing on firsthand experience, the charity aims to help protect patients’ wellbeing and ensure they can find appropriate information, advice and compassionate support during treatment.

Bradford KPA provides support throughout the patient journey, helps people understand potential benefit entitlements, and organises meetings and events. Free membership offers updates about the charity’s work and opportunities to connect with others. The association also welcomes volunteers and raises funds through donations, legacy gifts and community fundraising to improve patients’ comfort and quality of life. Its free newsletter shares news, programmes and events, and subscribers also receive quarterly magazines from the National Kidney Federation, to which Bradford KPA is affiliated.
