## Description

Brain.fm is a music service designed to support focus, relaxation, meditation, and sleep through audio informed by neuroscience. Its app offers activity-specific listening modes, including Deep Work, Creativity, Learning, Light Work, and Motivation, alongside options for unwinding, guided or unguided meditation, and sleep. Sleep selections include wind-down sessions, deep sleep, sleep and wake, and power naps.

The service provides personalized, continuous music streams, with no need to search for a playlist. Tracks are composed without lyrics or intrusive sounds and are designed to reduce distractions and interruptions. Users can also choose from natural soundscapes, adjust neural modulation levels, and use timers for work sessions and breaks.

Brain.fm says its patented audio technology uses sound modulation to encourage brain activity associated with different mental states. The company highlights research involving hundreds of participants, peer-reviewed publications, and support from the National Science Foundation. It also offers music designed for people with ADHD, including higher-stimulation options. Brain.fm is available on the web, iOS, Android, and desktop, and offers a free trial.
