## Description

The Australian Brain Alliance is a national organisation bringing together leading brain research institutes, neurotechnology developers and higher education providers. Its mission is to establish an Australian Brain Initiative that advances understanding of the brain and translates research into benefits for society. The Alliance advocates for strategic investment in brain science to help uncover how healthy, optimal brain function works, identify the causes of debilitating brain disorders and support the development of treatments that improve people’s lives. It also aims to foster advanced neurotechnology industries and high-impact, transdisciplinary collaborations across research and related fields. The Alliance supports Australia’s brain science community through initiatives such as its Early to Mid Career Research network, which helps researchers connect and develop new collaborations. Its website shares news and events, media releases and fact sheets about brain research areas and diseases the proposed Initiative could address. Visitors can learn about the Initiative, explore the Alliance’s network and become Brain Champions to support the advancement of brain science in Australia.
