## Description

Brain Injury Hawke’s Bay is a community organisation based in central Hastings that supports people living with brain injury across the Hawke’s Bay region. For more than 20 years, it has provided information, navigation support and education to people with brain injuries, their whānau, families, carers and the wider community. Its services aim to promote quality of life by helping people maximise their potential, choice and independence. The organisation offers support services, information about brain injury, referral pathways, resources, events and opportunities to share personal experiences. It also delivers education in schools and sports clubs to encourage concussion prevention and better management, alongside community awareness activities. Brain Injury Hawke’s Bay invites individuals, families, service users and corporate supporters to become members, and welcomes volunteers without requiring previous experience. Donations, whether one-off or monthly, help sustain its work. Supported by community members, local businesses and funders, the organisation works to make a positive difference for people affected by brain injury and those close to them.
