## Description

Grupo Recreativo Independente Brandoense (GRIB) is a community sports club based in Paços de Brandão, Portugal, bringing athletes, families, coaches and supporters together through basketball and shared activities. The club offers basketball teams across age groups, including youth categories and minibasket, helping children discover the sport and take part in training and competitions. Its 3×3 Minibasket in Schools initiative works with the Portuguese Basketball Federation to connect local schools and communities with the club. GRIB also hosts open days and minibasket events, giving newcomers a chance to try basketball, meet others and experience club life. For competitive teams, the club shares match schedules and updates, and it organizes supporter travel to important fixtures. Beyond sport, GRIB creates opportunities for community gatherings, including São João celebrations, and invites supporters to contribute ideas, such as designs for future team kits. The club provides information for parents, news and newsletters, and welcomes partnership enquiries. Based at Pavilhão António Júlio Silva, GRIB is an active local hub for basketball and community participation.
