Brant Skills Centre (formerly the Literacy Council of Brantford & District) is a registered charity dedicated to helping adults and older youth enhance their literacy and essential skills. Our goal is to empower individuals to increase their independence, pursue further education and training, and secure employment. At Brant Skills Centre, we offer a range of services to support our learners.

These include personalized one-to-one tutoring, small group tutoring, computer workshops (featuring our traveling computer labs), assistance with form filling, and clear writing services. Our office is conveniently located in the North Park Plaza on 225 Fairview Drive, where we share space with St. Leonard's community services.

We provide confidential and free regular literacy and essential skill training to adults in the City of Brantford and Brant County. Our organization is primarily funded by the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development.
