## Description

Brauchwiki serves as a vibrant online community dedicated to preserving and documenting the diverse customs and traditions of Bavaria and beyond. The platform highlights the significance of various rituals that shape our lives, from New Year to Christmas, as well as celebrations surrounding birth and death. Recognizing the dynamic nature of these customs, Brauchwiki invites users to actively participate by sharing their own local traditions through written stories, photographs, or videos. The aim is to create a rich repository of cultural practices, ensuring that both historical and evolving customs are celebrated. The initiative is supported by notable partners, including the Bavarian Ministry of Finance and Heritage, emphasizing its commitment to community involvement. Participants can also engage in events like the "Mein liebster Brauch" project, which showcases favorite traditions from locals, contributing to a living archive that continues to grow. Brauchwiki is thus a valuable resource for anyone interested in Bavarian culture and traditions.
