## Description

Braveheart Bio-Dog Academy is a canine training, research and security organisation based in Rayton, Gauteng, South Africa. Founded in 1987 as Bio Dog Services, the academy develops working dogs and training solutions for security, detection and home protection. Its programmes cover puppy socialisation, obedience, personal protection, patrol, tracking and anti-poaching, as well as detection training for explosives, firearms, narcotics and eco-products. The academy also provides dog-handler education, including PSIRA-related training and online handler courses.

Its services include narcotics and explosives detection sweeps, security dog consultations, dog and handler training, and professional kennelling. The organisation offers dogs for sale, including family, patrol, tracker and detection dogs, and lists puppies and dog food among its offerings. Research is a central part of its work, with a focus on canine detection methods, training aids and laboratory development. Led by founder John Greyvenstein, Braveheart combines practical training with research and specialised expertise to serve local and international clients seeking working dogs, security services and professional canine training.
