## Description

Breaking Eighty is an independent golf publication founded by Sean Ogle in 2012 to provide honest, unbiased reviews and useful guidance for golfers. Its reviews are based on products personally tested by Ogle, with the aim of helping readers choose equipment that suits their needs. The site covers golf gear across categories including clubs, shoes, bags, apparel, GPS devices, launch monitors, rangefinders, and training aids, alongside buying guides and coverage of deals.

Beyond equipment, Breaking Eighty publishes reviews and features on golf courses, private clubs, resorts, and hotels, sharing insights for golfers planning trips and looking for memorable places to play or stay. Its articles include destination guides and first-hand accounts of courses and travel experiences. The website also offers a free weekly email newsletter featuring gear being tested, notable golf deals, and subscriber-only content. With its mix of product testing, practical recommendations, and golf travel coverage, Breaking Eighty serves readers seeking informed perspectives on both what to buy and where to play.
