## Description

BREATHE Midwives, short for Black Reproductive Empowerment and Transparent Health Equity, is a registered non-profit charity focused on supporting Black sexual, reproductive, birthing, and infant health. The organization aims to raise awareness and help change systems affecting Black reproductive and sexual health, while offering programs and services for individuals and families.

Its care includes prenatal and postpartum support through clinic services, with both walk-in access and appointment bookings. BREATHE Midwives also provides sexual and reproductive health services, feeding support, and self-care, nutrition, and wellness programs. Services are available for teens and young adults, and the Community Home Visitor Program offers pregnancy and postpartum care for parents and babies in the comfort of their homes.

Education and workshops share information intended to empower participants, while a lending library and care packages provide additional resources. BREATHE Midwives accepts referrals and invites community members to volunteer, collaborate, share their experiences, or donate to support its initiatives.
