## Description

Bielefeld Research + Innovation Campus (BRIC) is a collaborative hub that bridges the gap between academia and industry, dedicated to addressing future challenges through innovative research. Established in 2019, BRIC encourages partnerships among recognized scientists and businesses in the region, focusing on key areas such as biotechnology, material science, data science, and healthcare. Positioned in a compact campus environment that includes Bielefeld University and related research institutions, BRIC fosters an ecosystem of innovation. Researchers work alongside small and medium enterprises, providing them access to advanced scientific resources and infrastructure. Current projects explore sustainable transformations in the region through bioengineering and smart technologies. The campus is also home to various research institutes such as the Center for Biotechnology and the Institute for Data Science Solutions, which contribute to pioneering advances in their respective fields. By harnessing interdisciplinary collaboration, BRIC is not only advancing scientific knowledge but also translating it into practical applications for businesses and society at large.
