## Description

Bridge to Freedom (B2F) is an all-inclusive, faith-based residential nonprofit focused on supporting people returning to society after incarceration. Its central goal is to reduce recidivism by helping participants adjust to life beyond prison and build stable, meaningful futures. The organization offers safe, nurturing housing for up to two years, alongside mentoring, case management, meals, clothing, toiletries, and other essential resources. Its programs include drug rehabilitation services and treatment, trauma therapy, Christian discipleship, life skills and job readiness training, life application classes, and relationship reconciliation workshops. Bridge to Freedom also provides guidance on practical goals, including planning how to buy a house. Its approach emphasizes gradual reentry, learning, healing, and the development of participants’ potential as contributors and leaders in their communities. Beyond its residential and reentry work, B2F supports newer minority-owned nonprofit organizations through a small grant program. It also publishes Just Released Magazine, a creative writing initiative and subsidiary, and presents Bridge to Freedom Productions and the B2F Black Box Theatre.
