## Description

Briggs Auction is a reputable and long-standing online auction house based in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania. With four generations of family ownership and operation, the Briggs Auction brand has a rich history and legacy in the industry. The business was initially established by William J. Briggs in the 1920s, starting as a furniture delivery service and later expanding into a full-service estate auction in 1932. Over time, it has evolved and grown under the leadership of Robert J. Briggs and his wife Gail, who expanded the auction facilities to their current size of over 10,000 square feet. Under the guidance of the third generation, Janice, John, and Bill Briggs, the live auction experience was further enhanced, with Friday nights at Briggs Auction becoming highly anticipated events. They streamlined operations and introduced online bidding in 2019, allowing for greater accessibility to bidders and consignors. The brand is currently spearheaded by Stephen R. Turner, great-grandson of William J. Briggs, and his wife Stephanie Germana. Their commitment lies in upholding the rich tradition established nearly 100 years ago, offering high-quality merchandise, personalized service to consignors, and staying up-to-date with contemporary trends and aesthetics. Briggs Auction is dedicated to providing a seamless auction experience, attracting new bidders, and bringing together a vast collection of estate merchandise, with over 1000 lots sold every week. Their website offers easy access to upcoming auctions, collections, and updates, keeping both bidders and consignors informed. With their deep-rooted family values and unwavering dedication, Briggs Auction continues to be a trusted choice for auction enthusiasts, collectors, and sellers alike.
