## Description

The Adrian Brinkerhoff Poetry Foundation is a dynamic literary nonprofit dedicated to elevating the art of poetry through expanded access and innovative educational materials. Founded by Cathy and Peter Halstead, the foundation curates a diverse collection of poems that span various eras, traditions, and themes, touching on universal experiences such as identity, love, and nature. Committed to making poetry engaging, the foundation collaborates with renowned institutions to transform written works into films, offering compelling visual interpretations of poetry.

Alongside these endeavors, the foundation is actively establishing libraries in the United States and Ireland to preserve traditional literary experiences and connect future generations with the tactile joys of physical books. Their flagship partnership with the Tippet Rise Art Center enhances this mission with live poetry readings, residencies, and outdoor events, merging art, music, and nature. Through an extensive archive and a growing collection of media, the Adrian Brinkerhoff Poetry Foundation fosters a global appreciation for poetry, inviting audiences to explore its profound insights and emotional resonance.
