## Description

BRK Bereitschaft Eching is a volunteer community within the Bavarian Red Cross, bringing together around 50 members of different ages to support people in Eching and the surrounding region. It is a non-profit organization, separate from the emergency ambulance service, and operates entirely through voluntary commitment. Its activities and equipment are funded through its service work and support from the Freising district association; the group says it receives no government funding.

The team provides medical services at local events and participates in the rapid-response unit for major incidents, the mobile support group for medical incident command, and civil protection. Members also volunteer in emergency medical services, provide a home emergency call service, help run the Glückshafen, and offer public training. Ongoing education helps members maintain skills appropriate to their roles and qualifications.

BRK Bereitschaft Eching welcomes new volunteers and seeks donations to sustain its work. Its website also highlights the Eching Youth Red Cross, which invites children to learn first aid, make friends, and take part in community service.
